The new BIOPREN® 4GR PLUS is an S-methoprene (IGR)-based larvicide that, in addition to the effective control of fly, can already be used efficiently against the larvae of litter beetle. Contains the S-methoprene active substance both in free and microencapsulated form. The free form has immediate action on the larvae, while the microencapsulated part provides a prolonged effect over a 90-day period.

The ready-to-use product can be applied directly on the surface of the manure with an appropriate device (for example, a hand-held granule applicator), according to the indicated dosage. May be used in closed pig, cattle and poultry farms and other livestock/farm buildings to prevent fly larvae breeding in the manure from developing into imagoes. Outdoor manure pits may also be treated if their containers are leak-proof and insulated.
