An oil-based emulsifiable concentrate with S-methoprene insect growth regulator active substance content for spray application to prevent the development of flea larvae in indoor areas. May be applied alone or in combination with fast acting insecticides. If applied and dosed in compliance with the directions for use and applied in the recommended dose, the treatment can ensure 6 to 9 month residuality against fleas.
